Jennifer Joss, PhD
Jennifer Joss, PhD is a psychologist by training, a coach and consultant by profession, and a hermetic philosopher at heart, preoccupied with questions about the nature of reality, truth, and the purpose of existence. To help facilitate healing and growth in people and systems, she integrates psychology and neuroscience, systems dynamics, and leadership development, with the wisdom of spiritual and mythic traditions, and inner technologies that have guided people for centuries. She has a particular passion for understanding great leadership and teaching people to “coach” themselves. An International Enneagram Association certified professional, Jennifer’s 30-year relationship with the Enneagram lured her into a deep exploration of its roots and the universal wisdom captured in the Symbol itself. She was certified to teach in the Narrative Enneagram tradition in 2004, and has trained with a number of major Enneagram schools, as the Enneagram has been a constant (though sometimes challenging) companion since she learned the system. Jennifer’s formal education includes a PhD in counseling psychology from Stanford’s School of Education and a BA from Harvard University, with high honors in psychology, although she is always studying something, currently energy healing and psychedelic-assisted therapy and integration. Jennifer is the author of the robust book, “The Enneagram Symbol.” You can read more about her writing and professional work at www.jumpingcurves.com.
